The Banda singer from Sinaloa, Mexico, who made his solo album debut in 2005 and scored his first international smash hit a half-decade later with "La Peinada (La Peinadita)." After several years of working under bands like Banda Aramburos, La Original Banda El Limón de Salvador Lizárraga, and Banda San José de Mesillas, Chuy embarked on a solo career in 2004 with a banda he founded on his own: Chuy Lizárraga y Su Banda Sinaloense. He is one of Banda’s most influential artists, and brings the genre to countries around the world.
