Harrah’s Resort SoCal donates lunch to vaccination station
Harrah’s Resort SoCal has a heart of gold, in case you haven’t noticed. Whether we’re cleaning up our local San Diego beaches, building homes for those in need or presenting All-in 4 Change winners with hefty checks for their noble non-profit causes, giving back to our community just fills ourFunner heart with joy. You may be familiar with our annual community activities such as All-in 4 Change, Giving Tuesday and Earth Month. But we aren’t limited to just a few yearly events of giving. These extraordinary times call for extraordinary gestures of kindness and that’s exactly what we’re doing.
As a thank you to all of our hard-working Palomar Health frontline workers spearheading the local Covid-19 vaccination effort, we’ve decided to provide them with a bit of culinary bliss in the way of donated lunches. Just our way of saying “thank you” to the men and women leading the way to the Funner times ahead. “We will be donating 490 lunches to Palomar Health’s Escondido super vaccination site over the course of seven visits from now through June.” says corporate citizenship manager Sheryl Sebastion. “We’ve provided in-kind donations to Palomar Health over the past nine years. Our partnership bloomed into something very special during 2020’s Giving Tuesday event where we donated lunch and golden tickets for free night stays to their frontline healthcare workers.”
