Location really is everything here at Harrah's Resort SoCal. We're pretty stoked on our sunny spot in San Diego County. Sandy beaches, relaxation and laidback lifestyles, we love it all. Many of us live within minutes of the coast and take pride in living a coastal lifestyle. Ask any Harrah’s Resort SoCal employee to list their favorite activity and there’s a good chance they’ll say surfing, fishing, diving, kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding or other beachy type outings. Maritime fun is important to us, but clean beach environments are even more near and dear to our hearts.
The Surfrider Foundation’s San Diego chapter is dedicated to keeping our local beaches clean and protected for all to enjoy. So when the Harrah’s Resort SoCal CodeGreen team started looking for a partner to collaborate with during the earth-friendly month of April, we knew exactly who to call. After a bit of mixing and experimenting we finally found the perfect collab item. Crisp, clean and surfy, we give you The Organic Surf Spritzer.
The brainchild of Spiked bartenders, The Organic Surf Spritzer is comprised of organic and locally-sourced ingredients that instantly transport you to a sunny San Diego beach. What’s more refreshing, Harrah’s Resort SoCal will donate one dollar of your Surf Spritzer purchase to the Surfrider Foundation. Now that’s what we call drinking with a purpose! Just remember, don’t drink and paddle. Save it for a post-surf siesta.
The Organic Surf Spritzer
1 oz. Organic Vodka
1 oz. Sweetened Lime Juice
2 Cherries (muddled)
Fresh Organic Basil
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker and fill with ice. Pour into a Collins glass, top with Soda Water and you’re ready for a sip and a surf.
