A time of year when those “chilly” 75-degree evenings require a sip or two from a refined cocktail to keep you warm and toasty. If a regal-inspired happy hour sounds like just the thing to calm the nerves before the holiday rush, then sip on what we’re shaking up with the Grand Marnier Sour.
Boasting sweet, sour and woody notes that are perfect for the newbees and cocktail aficionados alike, the Grand Marnier Sour combines the classic flavors of Grand Marnier with the refined and citric taste of Apricot Giffard Brandy. Topped with a sweet and silky foam shaken to pillowy perfection, this cocktail is sure to regal-fy any happy hour!
Grand Marnier Sour
2 oz. Grand Marnier
¼ oz. Apricot Giffard
¾ oz. Lemon juice
¾ oz. Simple syrup
Combine Grand Marnier, Apricot Giffard, lemon juice and syrup into a shaker and shake to combine.
Add ice to the shaker and continue shaking until cool, strain and pour into a coop glass.
Combine all foam ingredients into a shaker and shake until foam forms a thick and peaky consistency.
Top cocktail with foam and garnish with dehydrated lemon.
