Tuesdays. The new good news is that Monday has passed, but the bad news—it’s still not Wednesday. And Friday feels like a decade away. Here is the thing about Tuesdays in Los Angeles—traffic still exists, making even an average Tuesday a nightmare for commuters.
At Harrah’s Resort SoCal our fun experts came up with a fantastic way to celebrate the first days of summer and to make Tuesday, June 28 suck a little less for our friends in the LA area. Don’t worry Los Angelinos, we are always here for you. In fact, we’re your perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of every day life 365 days of the year.
Here is how we did it…
We Turned Uber Rides Into Comedy Shows
How would you like to share your Uber ride with one of your favorite comedians while sitting in rush hour traffic? We thought we would surprise a few lucky passengers by placing Paul Rodriguez, Ian Bagg, Matt Iseman, Monique Marvez and Dat Phan in separate uberPOOL cars 2 pm – 7 pm. A conveniently chauffeured live comedy show totally beats any on-air radio program. And it definitely beats listening to the traffic report.
It gets better! We captured all the action with cameras rolling inside each car—no hysterical moment between comedians and commuters went undocumented.
To keep the fun going, the comedians presented their passengers with a special Harrah’s Resort Southern California invitation. This exclusive gift consisted of a one-night Hotel stay at the awesome rate of $99 plus a $50 Resort Credit.
