Alabaster Jar Project
Alabaster Jar Project's mission is "to empower survivors of human trafficking and sexual exploitation." We do this by providing long term housing, a comprehensive variety of support services, and opportunities for survivor employment. What began as a ministry of a local church soon evolved into a standalone nonprofit 501(c)3 in 2013, receiving tax exempt status in July of 2014. Alabaster Jar Project is now comprised of Grace House, a long-term residential program; the Resource Center, a drop-in center that provides clothing, toiletries, referrals, emotional, educational, and vocational development programs; and Survivor-led Peer Support Groups.

Alzheimer’s Association of San Diego
The Alzheimer’s Association provides services to the San Diego County and Imperial County community. Support groups are offered regularly. Education programs for the general public, both online and in person, feature information on topics such as diagnosis, warning signs, communication, living with Alzheimer’s disease and caregiving techniques.

Armed Services YMCA
The Armed Services YMCA enhances the lives of military service members and families in mind, body, and spirit through programs and services that are relevant to the unique challenges of military life. The grant will provide junior-enlisted military families in San Diego with powerful youth development programming, much needed childcare, family bonding programs, equine therapeutic programs, recreation therapy, academic support, food assistance, and more.

Barrio Logan College Institute
The mission of Barrio Logan College Institute (BLCI) is to break the cycle of poverty by preparing underserved students to be the first in their families to go to college through no-cost after school programs that begin in third grade. Currently serving up to 500 students from over 50 different schools at four locations throughout San Diego County, BLCI works in neighborhoods where student attainment outcomes are rated the lowest in the county.

Berry Good Food
Berry Good Food supports a local and regenerative food system across San Diego County. They seek to empower the community by building bridges between farmers, chefs, scientists, and citizens to challenge the industrial food system while advocating for access to healthy food for all. This is achieved through the “Seeds for the Future” program that offers garden and culinary based educational experiences to K-12 schools located in communities and neighborhoods in need.

Casa de Amisted
Casa de Amistad is a grassroots non-profit organization grounded in the heart of the North County San Diego community that has been a trusted educational resource in the community since 2001. Offering academic support and guidance for students facing educational and economic barriers. Casa de Amistad provides tutoring and mentoring, career development, college preparedness, technology access, STEM-focused activities, and support for parents.

The Foundation for Senior Care's mission is to provide comprehensive support and services that enhance the quality of life for seniors and adults with disabilities in the community. Their Door Through Door (DTD) program aims to reduce hospital readmissions and improve overall health outcomes by addressing critical gaps in care, ensuring safety, and providing essential resources for seniors transitioning from hospital to home.

Happy Heart Haven
Through education, Happy Heart Haven creates a compassionate and harmonious environment where humans and rescued farm animals come together, fostering healing, understanding and mutual respect. A place where everyone is welcome and sure to leave with a happier heart! This sanctuary offers a unique educational experience for visitors of all ages! Through guided tours, interactive exhibits, and workshops, visitors can learn about the individual stories and personalities of the rescued animals, witnessing firsthand the profound impact that their actions can have on these sentient beings.

I Love a Clean San Diego County
I Love A Clean San Diego (ILACSD) leads and inspires the community to actively conserve and enhance the environment through example, outreach, and local involvement. Founded in 1954, ILACSD began by fighting against litter. Today, ILACSD is on a mission to create zero waste lifestyles and zero litter throughout San Diego County. ILACSD serves approximately 100,000 students, adults, and businesses every year by providing environmental education, volunteer cleanup and beautification programs, and recycling and zero waste solutions. On average, ILACSD hosts over 900 workshops and produces 600 community cleanups each year.

Interfaith Community Services
The mission of Interfaith Community Services (Interfaith) is to empower people in need to stabilize and improve their lives through comprehensive programs, in partnership with diverse faith communities and people of compassion. Founded in 1979 as a direct response to rising rates of hunger and homelessness in North San Diego County, Interfaith works to break the cycle of poverty and homelessness. Building on more than 40 years of empowering homeless and low-income community members, Interfaith has become the most comprehensive social services agency in North County, providing both immediate safety net services and long-term, life-changing services for the most poor and vulnerable residents.

Lambda Archives of San Diego
The mission of Lambda Archives of San Diego is to collect, preserve, and share the LGBTQ+ history of San Diego, Northern Baja California, and Imperial Valley region. In the current climate where book banning and anti-LGBTQ+ curriculum efforts are increasingly prevalent, Lambda Archives continually builds a robust LGBTQ+ curriculum for local schools, educators, and community members. This curriculum not only serves as a countermeasure to the erasure of LGBTQ+ histories and experiences but also fosters a more inclusive and supportive educational environment.

Lions, Tigers & Bears
Lions Tigers & Bears is dedicated to providing a safe haven to abused and abandoned exotic animals and to inspiring an educational forum to end the exotic animal trade. This black market hurts true conservation efforts of our natural resources in their natural environment, in addition to the extreme cruelty and harm done to these majestic animals. Most of the animals bred and traded have limited use for cub-petting and photo ops. When they become too big to handle, their abusers look to sanctuaries to rescue them. Legitimate sanctuaries are few and far between. Lions Tigers & Bears is the ONLY accredited sanctuary in San Diego County.

Ramona Senior Center
Ramona Senior Center’s mission is to improve the community by enhancing the well-being, and independence of seniors, under the guidelines of the Federal Older Americans Act. Providing affordable, nutritionally sound meals and other services for ambulatory and home-bound residents in surrounding areas substantially impacts not only the seniors, but also local businesses and countless volunteers of all ages. We strive to enrich their lives by reducing isolation, offer companionship opportunities, professional services, and social interaction on a daily basis.

Riverside Rape Crisis Center
The Riverside Area Rape Crisis Center provides culturally responsive and inclusive advocacy, support and services to survivors and families affected by all forms of sexual violence including sexual assault, domestic violence, and child abuse; and provides community education to achieve awareness and prevention of sexual violence. Founded in 1973, has been a visible presence and resource for victims and survivors of sexual assault and their families during traumatic times. Over the years, the Center’s service areas, program staff, and volunteer base have expanded to better meet the needs of the communities we serve throughout Western Riverside County. The services of the Riverside Area Rape Crisis Center are provided free of charge.

San Diego County Dental Foundation
The San Diego County Dental Foundation's area of focus is at the nexus of Education, Healthcare and Veterans. SDCDF's mission is to promote public understanding of oral health and provide access to dental care in the region. The flagship project, the John Geis DDS Dental Clinic at Veterans Village of San Diego, offers state-of-the-art, no-cost comprehensive dental treatment to formerly homeless veterans, restoring their oral health and overall well-being.

Smiles for Seniors Foundation
For the past 17 years Smiles for Seniors has proudly operated a comprehensive program that addresses the pressing needs of low-income seniors, including financial assistance for basic necessities needed to survive such as food, housing, utility assistance, minor home and auto repairs, lifesaving medications and medical equipment along with providing valuable resource and referrals for vulnerable low income seniors in need. Each year, the program extends emergency assistance and safety net services to hundreds of struggling seniors who have nowhere to else to turn when basic necessities and everyday emergency situations arise and do not align within their fixed income budget.

Support the Enlisted Project
Support the Enlisted Project’s (STEP) mission is to build financial self-sufficiency among junior active-duty enlisted members and recently discharged enlisted Veterans and their families facing financial crisis through counseling, education, and grants. STEP provides services in the following counties: San Diego, Orange County, San Bernardino, Kern, Ventura, Los Angeles, Imperial, and Riverside.

The Elizabeth Hospice
The mission of the Elizabeth Hospice is to enhance the lives of those nearing the end of life’s journey and to care for those who grieve. As a community-based resource for hospice and palliative care, grief counseling, emotional support, bereavement education and crisis support. The Elizabeth Hospice has touched the lives of more than 115,000 people in San Diego and Southwest Riverside Counties since 1978.

Working Dogs for Warriors is a 501(c)(3) Non-profit organization, dedicated to helping train and donate service animals to the Nation's Veterans and First Responders. These service dogs are essential in support of wellness of the first responders, veterans, and community members fighting PTSD. This funding is essential to provide multiple mental health programs by Working Dogs for Warriors while bringing together the community.
