At Harrah’s Resort SoCal we love giving guests fun, but more than that, we love giving back to a good cause. We have found a way to make both happen simultaneously. Below are ways to activate your fun muscles and feel good about having a good time without having to wake up at 4am for a 5K.
- $10K Slot Tournaments and $10K Black Tournaments – Tuesdays
Come get your game on every Tuesday by playing in our $10K Slot Tournaments or $10K Blackjack Tournaments. During the month of October, all buy-in proceeds will go to benefit Susan G. Komen’s Inland Empire Race for the Cure.
Tournaments are open to all Total Rewards® members. The buy-in for Gold members is $20. Registration begins at 4pm for Slot Tournaments and 3pm for Blackjack Tournaments.
If you score in the top 100 in the slot tournament, you win free play. If you place first in the Blackjack tournament, get this, you win $5,000 in live chips! And if you don’t win a thing, you still have raised awareness for a good cause.

- Power to the Pink – October 8
Come take a chance at winning $20,000 in our Power to the Pink drawing.
As long as you are a Total Rewards® members, you can participate in the drawing!
Every 30 minutes from 1pm to 10:30pm, three very lucky guests will be chosen to select a breast cancer themed cookie that will reveal a prize. Prizes are various amounts of free play and/or Reward Credits. Then at 11pm, one guest will win $20,000 in CASH!
As an added bonus, throughout the day we will be handing out breast cancer awareness pins. Make sure you proudly display the pin on your chest!
- Battle of the Bras Poker Tournament - October 8
Deal yourself in at the Battle of the Bras No Limit Hold’em Poker Tournament and become the next Chris Moneymaker. You’ll play alongside special celebrity guests including:
Matt Iseman from “American Ninja Warrior”, Dat Phanof “Last Comic Standing”, Tom McClain, comedian and sports talk host, Marc Price, actor and comedian, Adrienne Wilkinson from TV series “Xena: Warrior Princess” and Mark Christopher Lawrence, actor and comedian.
Buy-in to play is $65 ($40 for prize pool + $25 tax-deductible donation) which gets you a whopping $10,000 in non-negotiable tournament chips. And if you are feeling extra generous, you have the option to add on an additional $25 ($10 for prize pool + $15 tax-deductible donation). All donations will go to the American Cancer Society.
Prize Pool: Cash, plus the first place winner will receive a two-night Hotel stay and one paid seat to the 2016 WSOP Circuit Event to be held at Harvey’s Lake Tahoe.
- Get Your Laugh On With Martin Lawrence – October 29
Don’t miss out on this sweat free abdominal workout where you get to laugh hysterically while being entertained by comedy legend Martin Lawrence.
Tickets start at $50 and are available for purchase at Ticketmaster.com.
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society.

- Cast Your Vote for Your Favorite Over the Shoulder Boulder Holder – October 8 - 23
Each year Harrah’s Resort SoCal teammates channel their creativity to compete in an annual bra decorating contest called Battle of the Bras. Every department gets a GIANT bra — size 42 DD to be exact — to decorate.
These bras will be displayed in the Hotel Lobby where guests and teammates can vote for their favorite in five categories.

- Most Creative
- Scariest
- Best Display of Breast Cancer Awareness
The winning bras will then be auctioned off starting Friday, October 28 through Sunday, October 30.
All proceeds will go to benefit the American Cancer Society.
6. Silent Auction: Autographed Sports and Entertainment Memorabilia– October 28 – October 30
Along with the winning bras being auctioned off, there will also be an opportunity to bid on autographed entertainment and sport memorabilia in a silent auction. Break out your pen and make a bid because all the money raised will go to benefit the American Cancer Society.

If that’s not enough, you can play your favorite games proudly at one of our pink tables. Come get lucky for a good cause!
- Take an Evening Cruise and See Our Resort in PINK
If you’ve ever visited our place of fun, you know we light up the outside of the building in our signature color, purple. But during the month of October, you won’t be seeing purple after the sunset, you will be seeing PINK! The Lazy River be lit up in pink as well as the inside of the Casino. This is one more way we’ll be raising awareness all month long!
