Funny takes center stage!
Who’s ready to laugh? Tim Allen brings his unique style of comedy to The Events Center on April 27. Star of the hit sitcom “Last Man Standing,” on FOX and well known for voicing his beloved character Buzz Lightyear in the Disney “Toy Story” franchise, Allen brings his classic comedic style to sold out shows cross the country.
He honed his talents as a stand-up comedian through the 1980s, providing the perfect lead-in to his highly successful ABC television series “Home Improvement” where he garnered a Golden Globe Award, and Emmy nomination and was honored with the People’s Choice Award for “Favorite Male Performer in a Television Series” for an unprecedented eight years in a row.
During the “Home Improvement” years he also found time to pen his first book Don’t Stand Too Close to a Naked Man, which topped the New York Times Bestseller List. This was followed up with his second bestseller, I’m Not Really Here, focusing on midlife, family and quantum physics.
In addition to his TV career Allen is also well known for his roles in several movies including the holiday classic “The Santa Clause” franchise.
