If you’re visiting the resort for the first time you’ll probably get more Fiore recommendations than you can shake a bone-in ribeye at. A ten-time winner of Wine Spectator’s “Award of Excellence”, Fiore isn’t just any restaurant or fine-dining establishment. It’s an experience. And we’re kicking that experience up a notch with the addition of our newest Specialty Chef, Amanda Colello.
Originally from New York, Chef Amanda’s culinary career has taken her to food meccas around the country including New York, Mississippi, and Southern California. As well as an appearance on Chef Gordon Ramsey’s Hell’s Kitchen!
From Thomas Keller’s classic French kitchen Per Se to Spanish-inspired molecular gastronomy by James Beard Award winning chef Jose Andres, Chef Amanda’s culinary skills bring a cutting-edge angle to the Fiore menu.
So what does that mean for that hungry gurgling stomach of yours? More yumminess of course! “My vision for the menu is to pare it down and switch things up a bit.” Says Colello. “I’d love to bring the whimsical approach to food that I learned from chef Jose Andres to the dishes I create here. Working with chef Andres exposed me to molecular gastronomy. I am excited to use some of the techniques that I have learned along the way to present our food here at Fiore in new and interesting ways.”
