Catch a Spooky Flick at Harrah’s Resort SoCal
Fall has arrived in Funner California and with it comes all of the autumn staples we’ve come to enjoy. Cooler weather, pumpkin-spiced snacks and, of course, Halloween. And nothing sets off the Halloween season like a good old fashioned scary movie or two. The suspense and heart-pumping thrill of the horror genre is something we all find addicting whether we like it or not. If you’re ready to spookify your fall season Harrah’s Resort SoCal is happy to oblige with their weekly October event, Movie Under the Stars.
Located in the Corked Courtyard, Harrah’s Resort SoCal has set up a unique outdoor viewing experience complete with a large video projection screen and socially-distanced seating. Add a starlit sky and the cool October evening air and you have yourself a relaxing night of movie-going just ripe for the spooking. “We have gotten great feedback on Movie Nights as our guests seem to really enjoy getting outdoors.” says Fun Supervisor Anita Warren. “ We have set up a sanitation area which our guests may utilize on the way in and on the way out. Each guest gets their own card to let us know if they are coming back or not. They can place these cards on their chair to notify us.” she adds
Remember, it isn’t a movie if you don’t have the eats so don’t forget to bring a few things to snack and sip on! “We don’t offer snacks and drinks in the area but guests are more than welcome to bring them into the Courtyard where we play the movies.” says Warren. Allow the Corked bartenders to pour you a nice glass of cabernet or chianti to enjoy during the movie. And don’t forget to pair it with something tasty. A slice of pizza margherita or bowl of spaghetti marinara from Che Bello would really make that glass of chianti sing, or scream since that’s the October theme!
The Movie Under the Stars Halloween series kicks off on Thursday, October 1 at 7pm and starts with a classic, Friday the 13th!

Movie Under the Stars begins at 7pm every Thursday night and entry is FREE for all Caesars Rewards members or $10 for non-Caesars Rewards members. If you don’t have a Caesars Rewards card, now would be the time (hint hint)! The events are also 21 and over. Happy spooking!
