As the best resort in Funner, CA we go above and beyond to help our guests, our teammates, the community and the environment. Harrah’s Resort SoCal is proud to offer support in the form of volunteer time as well as cash and in-kind donations to support positive change in the people and communities of Southern California.
Team members at Harrah’s Resort SoCal go all-in on giving back and this April that included a special day of donating to the San Diego Blood Bank. Part of the resort’s All-in 4 Change community give-back efforts, 35 team members donated blood in a time when blood banks need it most. The San Diego Blood Bank and Harrah’s Resort Southern California have been close partners for over 15 years and the Resort annually hosts up to four blood drives per year. Thank you to everyone who gave for a good cause!

Giving Tuesday means bringing Funner to the community, so on November 30, hundreds of Harrah’s Resort SoCal team members donned their purple shirts and went all in on giving back. This year the team could be found in swabbing the decks at the USS Midway Museum, packing and delivering lunches to local fire stations and cleaning up the coast. All in the team helped eight local charities by donating time, energy and of course Funner!
By now, as a dedicated Funner Californian, you know that we dress up the Harrah’s Resort SoCal property in pink. From our fountains and pools to our felts on the tables, we have a soft spot for doing good and showing our support. October’s breast cancer awareness month is no different. Going “pink” around our property is about more than just pink lights and pink ribbons. The pink ribbon itself represents a calling for us to help those affected by breast cancer and to bring a bit of Funner to their everyday lives. Unlike last year’s virtual spa day, we were thrilled to once again host breast cancer patients and survivors from Michelle’s Place Cancer Resource Center (link) in person for a day of pampering and relaxation at The Spa at Harrah’s!
