Harrah’s Resort Southern California isn’t just the best place to find your Funner state of mind. It’s also a great place for communities to win, thanks to the annual All-in 4 Change cash grant program! Now in its eighth year, this unique initiative gives the community a chance to uplift and empower their favorite charities by offering YOU a chance to nominate and vote for organizations you care about.
The All-in 4 Change program provides financial assistance to eligible organizations through a competitive grant application process which includes open-to-public nomination and voting phases. In 2022, All-in 4 Change awarded $150,000 in cash to 15 well-deserving non-profits from San Diego, Riverside and Orange Counties. And it’s almost time to do it again!
On July 1, nonprofits in Southern California are invited to apply for their chance to join the fun. Interested charities can submit proposals outlining their projects and how they align with All-in 4 Change’s objectives. Winning charities are awarded cash grants ranging from $4,000 to $55,000, and the funds can be used to support existing programs or launch new initiatives.
It has been seven months since the 2022 All-in 4 Change winners were announced, so Harrah’s Resort SoCal checked in to see how these grants helped to continue each organizations’ initiatives.
First place winner Feeding San Diego took home a grant of $55,000 in 2022. “With this grant from Harrah’s, for each dollar we’re able to provide two meals. So, it gives those who are in need hope,” said Chief Strategy Officer Robert Kamensky of Feeding San Diego.
“We are finding that here in San Diego County, our active duty military and retired military find it very difficult in these times. We have had a number of people that have asked for assistance for rent, car repairs and groceries. From the money that we received from Harrah’s, we have been able to give out a lot more grants,” said Cathe Robling, President of the Navy Marine Corps Proud Foundation and winner of the $15,000 third place grant award.
